What a boat trip costs

Trips on this page run from about Rs 700 to Rs 1,999 per person, and most last around an hour. The price and, where the skipper has set one, the duration are on each card.

Île aux Cocos

Île aux Cocos is an uninhabited seabird reserve in the lagoon, about four kilometres west of Rodrigues. You reach it only by boat, and the visit is guided.

Who takes you out

These are island skippers, named on their own listings — the snorkelling at Rivière Banane, the lagoon trip and the traditional fishing are all run by Arnaud. You are booking a person, not a desk.

Tours and boat trips — common questions

How much does an experience cost?
Prices are per person and shown on every listing — from Rs 700 (Balade en mer) to Rs 1,999 (Île aux Cocos Excursion with Les Inséparables). Nothing is added on top: you pay the provider's price.
Do I pay straight away when I book?
No. You send a request first and we check the date with the provider. Only once availability is confirmed do you get a payment link and a deadline — if the date cannot be held, you are told and offered alternatives instead. You can also ask to pay in person, in cash: we tell you whether you can, or whether it needs paying online.
Can I visit Île aux Cocos?
Yes. It is a protected islet and bird sanctuary in the lagoon, reached by boat, and the excursion is listed here with a local guide. It is the trip most visitors to Rodrigues come for.
