A scenic coastal ride from Anse aux Anglais through the capital Port Mathurin, then down the wild east coast past Gravier to Mourouk — the island's kite-surfing bay.

Moderate ~30 km Half day

A winding highland loop up the famous 52-Contours road, past Jeantac and down to the south-west, returning along the coast via Baie aux Huitres and Grande Montagne — sweeping views across the heart of the island.

Ride from Port Mathurin across the island to Rodrigues' most famous turquoise beaches — Pointe Coton and Saint François — soft white sand, calm lagoon and beach shacks for lunch.

Ride to the Graviers car park on the wild south-east coast, then take the scenic ~30-minute coastal walk to Trou d'Argent — the postcard cove ringed by cliffs that many call the island's finest beach.

A tough inland trek via Quatre Vents, Citron Donis and Anse Baleine — much is off-trail through dense vegetation with aggressive mosquitoes, but the final descent to Anse Baleine is sublime. Difficult · bring repellent, water and good shoes.
